Removing the Quasar Service

To remove the Quasar service:

1. Open services.msc as admin.
2. Stop the Quasar Scanner Service
3. Open cmd.exe as admin
4. Change directory to the agent location (e.g. cd C:pathtoquasaragent)
5. Run the command quasarscan.exe remove and wait for the following message
   • Removing service QuasarScanService
   • Service removed
6. Exit out of cmd.exe
7. Shift+Del the Quasar Agent folder. Quasar does not use the registry. To uninstall the software, all you need to do is delete the install folder.
